March 2022 - Clean Up
April 2022
Having taken ownership of our pub on Thursday March 3rd, we had an amazing response to our appeal for volunteers to clear out the pub. An army of volunteers turned up in fantastic spirits and the power of the community was demonstrated with the pub being totally cleared out in no time. Tree roots were pulled up, numerous skips filled and the area behind the pub has been transformed! Thanks to everyone who has contributed in some way, it truly is a brilliant start.
This hard work cleared the way for the arrival of the professionals. DR Maintenance have done an excellent job on the roof repairs, and thanks to their diligence and some very co-operative weather finished them in 2 weeks. The pub is now completely watertight, stripped back and ready for the interior work to commence.
Internal works are commencing next, with all the essential elements booked in and we’ll keep you updated on progress and when we think we will be looking to open.
